Taylor Swift embracing the "snake"
On Aug. 18 Taylor Swift fans were outraged when they found out that she has deleted all her social media. Just a few days later, on the day of the eclipse, which was Aug. 21, her social media was reborn again.
Swift posted short videos of a snake on all her social media platforms, like on her Instagram. Then releases a new song, rebranding the "Taylor Swift" into a more dark and edgy look. Swift also mentions that the new album is called, "Reputation" and will be released on Nov. 10 and the new music video for her new song will be released at the VMA's.
On Taylor's new song, many say it could be about the drama she has with Kanye and Katy Perry. She talks about her reputation, trust issues and victimization. There's a line in the song in which all fans and non-fans are going mostly talking about, which could be the explanation why she deleted her social media accounts. The lyrics goes:
